Golden Cariboo Resources Discovers Significant Extension of Halo Zone at Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine
Vancouver, British Columbia – February 25, 2025 – Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (GCC), a leading gold exploration company, is thrilled to announce a substantial extension of the Halo zone at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property. This expansion comes on the heels of the successful drill results from hole QGQ24-20.
Drill Results Highlight
The drill hole QGQ24-20 intersected an impressive interval of 0.71 g/t gold with 6.96 g/t silver over an extended length of 341.96 m (1,121.9 ft). This interval included higher-grade sections, such as 0.99 g/t gold with 9.8 g/t silver over 236.88 m (777.2 ft) and 1.45 g/t gold with 16.05 g/t silver over 137.17 m (450.0 ft).
Improved Drill Results
Two notable high-grade intercepts were also discovered, with 7.36 g/t gold and 164.95 g/t silver over 11.95 m (39.2 ft) and 16.35 g/t gold with 9.09 g/t silver over 4.29 m (14.1 ft). However, core recovery for these intervals was only 43% and 46% respectively, which could potentially result in lower overall values due to the loss of mineralized soft sulphide bearing, brecciated, fractured, and/or altered material.
Extension of the Halo Zone
These intersections extend the Halo zone horizontally by 100 m (328.1 ft) to the northwest from the previously reported drill hole QGQ24-19. QGQ24-20 is currently the northwestern-most drill hole completed on the Property. The Halo zone now encompasses an irregular, up to approximately 320m (1,049.9 ft) in size.
Impact on the Individual
For individual investors, this news could mean potential growth opportunities in the mining sector, particularly for those with holdings in Golden Cariboo Resources. As the company continues to explore and expand its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine, it could lead to increased market value and potential returns.
Impact on the World
On a larger scale, the discovery of significant extensions to the Halo zone could contribute to the global gold supply. With the increasing demand for gold in various industries such as electronics, jewelry, and as a safe-haven asset, any new gold discoveries could have a ripple effect on the global economy.
Conclusion
Golden Cariboo Resources’ recent discovery of extended high-grade gold and silver intercepts at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property is a promising development for the company and the mining sector as a whole. As the exploration continues, investors and the global economy could potentially benefit from any further expansion of the Halo zone and the subsequent increase in gold supply.
