SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., Dec. 18, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Ensign Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG) has announced the acquisition of eight facilities across Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and California.

The Ensign Group, Inc., the parent company of the Ensign™ group of companies, focuses on investing in and providing skilled nursing and senior living services, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, as well as other rehabilitative and healthcare services. The acquisition includes both real estate and operations and is being purchased from Providence Home and Community Care.
Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc., Ensign’s captive real estate subsidiary, will be purchasing the real estate assets for all eight facilities. While six of the operations will be operated by Ensign affiliated operating companies, two facilities will be operated by a third-party tenant under a new long-term triple net master lease with Standard Bearer as the landlord. The transaction is expected to be finalized in the coming months.
